1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text). When you use the extension, we collect the design assets you explicitly choose to save - colors, fonts, screenshots, SVGs, and bookmarks.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Account & authentication - to let you sign in and sync your saves across devices.
• Saved assets - stored in your folders so you can access them later. We never sell, share, or use your saved content for training AI models.
• Usage analytics - we may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g. feature usage counts) to improve the product. No personal data is included.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers hosted by Hetzner (EU) and images on Cloudflare R2. All connections use TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Hetzner - database hosting
• Cloudflare R2 - image and file storage

We do not share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Chrome Extension Permissions

The PocketUI extension requests access to the active tab to detect colors, fonts, and assets on the page you're viewing. It only activates when you open the extension - it does not run in the background or track your browsing.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your saved assets are retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual saves or entire folders at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at hello@pocketui.app.

7. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to object to processing. Contact us at hello@pocketui.app.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
