Pick a color

Click any pixel on a page and its color is saved to your folder, ready to copy as HEX, RGB or HSL.

The eyedropper sweeps the page and the colors land in your folder.

Steps

    Click Pick a color (the pipette) in the toolbar, or press C.

  2. 2

    A magnifier follows your mouse. Move it over the color you want.

  3. 3

    Click. A Color saved message confirms it.

  4. 4

    To copy it later: click Folders, open the folder, then click the color. Click Copy next to HEX, RGB or HSL.

What you get

  • A color swatch in your folder.
  • Its HEX, RGB and HSL values, each with a Copy button.

Tips

  • Tools open in the folder you were last in, so you never have to pick one first. The very first time, with no folder yet, PocketUI asks you to create one.
  • Press Esc at any time to cancel a tool. The toolbar stays where it is.
